As a member of the DSV, the German championship in cross-country skiing is held every two years as part of the König Ludwig Lauf’s. The championship will be integrated into the traditional Sunday race in the classic technique.

A large number of German cross-country skiers are always represented at the ski marathons ain Germany. This regardless of whether they are elite runners, they are organized in a club or train alone. The DSV wants to achieve with the German Championships of ski marathon that no matter whether you are an ambitious amateur runner, a novice runner or a competitive athlete, everyone can take part in the championship.

The motto is: "Together with the elite on the cross-country ski run!" Even if the podium seems a longway off, running fast is worthwhile: every starter who finishes within the winning time + 50% receives a DSV- Limit medal, which can be both a reminder and an incentive to continue - in the future maybe also in a training group in a club.

In addition to the German championship, the DSV will also be present in and around the stadium for spectators and participants with a supporting program. With "DSV on tour" there are additional activities and hands-on activities in the children's area that you can try out. And of course the DSV mascot Skitty should not be missing - Skitty will cheer the youngest participants at the   Mini-Kini.
